How to get there
We are situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders, just over the Eildon Hills from Melrose and just up from the River Tweed near St. Boswells and Newtown St. Boswells. We shall send you exact directions with your booking information
By car
Roulotte Retreat is just off the A68 from St. Boswells or near the A7 which runs through Selkirk, Hawick and Galashiels.
By bus
Buses run from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle to nearby Newtown St. Boswells and Galashiels. If you are travelling by bus then please let us know and we can arrange a pick up for you. The nearest bus drop off is at Newtown St. Boswells on the 51/52 route with Munros of Jedburgh.
By train or plane
At the moment there are no trains in the Scottish Borders but there is rumour that we may have them back again in the future. The nearest train stations are in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle or Carlisle.
The nearest airports are Edinburgh, Newcastle and Glasgow.
By Boat
If coming from certain parts of the Borders arrival by canoe, kayak or raft could be possible!!!
