Fungi and Wild Food Forage

Forager extraordinaire Mark Williams of Galloway Wild Foods visited us on a couple of occasions a few years ago in Spring and again in Autumn. Mark took us on an amazing journey of discovery through the woods and hedgerows in and around Roulotte Retreat.

We learned about edible fungi, plants and fruits of autumn, enjoying a wild cook-in and taster session afterwards. We highly recommend Mark and would encourage anyone to find out more about the wonderful bounty that is right under their nose.
